2025 Indoor Moonlight Series Info and Rules

Series Rules:

1. NO PIT RIDING! MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM OLDE

DOMINION AG COMPLEX MANAGEMENT! To and from staging ONLY for

races!

2. SAFETY FIRST – The FLAGS and Track OFFICIALS are for SAFETY. PAY ATTENTION.

3. YELLOW FLAG = PROCEED WITH CAUTION! No Jumping or No Passing.

4. RED CROSS Flag = Rider Injured – CAUTION! NO Jumping or NO PASSING. WHEELS

on the GROUND!

5. All RIDERS can ride 4 classes.

6. Riders MUST be signed-up before they get on the track.

7. All Racing is FRIDAY and SATURDAY. You can race one day or BOTH!

8. LST membership is REQUIRED. (AMA CARD NOT REQUIRED)

9. Heat/Main Event format. Heat Race is for Gate Pick. Main event is FINAL Result.

10. You may change bike for MAIN EVENT, Changed bike MUST be legal for class.

11. Riders involved in fighting WILL be DISQUALIFIED..

12. 5 MPH speed limit (1st gear) while on the grounds or face DISQUALIFICATION. NO PIT

RIDING. To staging and back to your pits ONLY…

13. ALL 50cc CLASSES = STOCK Only

14. Practicing with the wrong group gets you DISQUALIFIED.

15. NO PIT RIDING!

16. D Class is for beginners, Lake Sugar Tree reserves the right to place riders

according to speed & ability. We ADVANCE riders throughout the year

out of the D classes.

17. D Class RIDERS = 4 Wins and you’re advanced, 5 second place finishes and

you’re advanced or a combination of a total of FIVE 1st & 2nd place finishes

gets you advanced. MUST be 7 Riders in the class to count for advancement.

18. NO REFUNDS after practice is over. Meaning once racing has started no refunds.

19. CHECK YOUR RESULTS. PROTEST PERIOD is 30 MINUTES.

Results can be changed later, IF it is a clerical ERROR, it may be fixed later.

20. 85cc 9-11 yrs = 79-85cc 2 stroke – Big Wheel is NOT ALLOWED. – 150 Honda is OK

21. Mini Open 9-13 yrs = 65cc – 85cc Two Stroke/75cc-150cc 4 stroke – Big Wheel is OK–150

Honda is OK.

22. 85cc 12-15 yrs = 79cc-85cc 2 Stroke – 75cc-150cc 4 Stroke – Big Wheel is OK – 150

Honda is OK.

23. 85 D Beginner = 85cc-112cc 2 stroke/ 85-150cc 4 stroke bikes – Big Wheel is OK – 150

Honda is OK.

24. D riders may race another class, BUT if you place in the TOP 30% you are moved

out of the D class (Top 30% based on 7 Rider minimum class).

25. COLLEGE BOY is 14-24 yrs Amateur/Pro – Full sized bikes (122cc thru Open) ONLY.

26. 51cc 4-8 Special Limited = Limited to the following models: Honda CRF50, Yamaha PW50,

Suzuki JR50, and Yamaha TTR50, P3 Cobra.

27. All “50cc” Riders will receive race day awards.

28. Proof of age is required for youth classes as of 12/27/24.

29. Stacyc racers CANNOT race any other classes.

30. Riders must run a minimum of 9 of the 12 scheduled races to qualify for year end awards.

31. In the event of a points tie, the winner will be based on the final main event.

32. NO ONE is allowed on the racing surface during races.

33. Late Entries will be allowed – Even After Qualifying – Until Gate is Filled – 1st come, 1st

served..

34. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL INSIDE THE BUILDING! If you are caught with outside alcohol

inside the facility, the management of ODAC will have you removed from property immediately.

These riders will take any remaining gate positions after the qualified riders pick their gate….
